Every Queens job starts with one question: where will the container sit? On your own driveway or lot, there is no permit. On the street, NYC DOT requires a permit before the container goes down, and the spot has to be legal: not within 15 feet of a hydrant, and not in a bus stop, No Standing zone, crosswalk or corner. We help with the DOT permit when you book. Tell us what is in front of your address when you call.
From a small bathroom renovation in Kew Gardens to a full gut job in Jackson Heights, or a roofing project in Middle Village to a commercial cleanout in Astoria — Prime Dumpster LLC has the right size container, and the expertise to place it exactly where you need it.

Have three things ready when you call (516) 515-1951: the delivery address, where the container should go (driveway, lot or street) and roughly what is going in it. If it is going on the street, the DOT permit has to be in place first, so mention that up front.
The 10 yard is our smallest container and the usual pick for a bathroom remodel, a basement or garage cleanout, or yard waste. Its small footprint makes it the easiest size for a tight driveway in Woodhaven or Corona or a short curb in Sunnyside. Concrete, brick and plaster are heavy, so a small box is often the right choice for those materials too.
For a cleanout, NYC DOT issues a Commercial Refuse Container permit: one container, up to five consecutive days, filed by a DOT-registered carting company rather than the property owner, and it does not reserve a parking space. Renovations with a Department of Buildings permit qualify for a 30 to 90 day Construction Debris Container permit. Street containers sit on planks and stay clear of hydrants, crosswalks and corners.
